Your First Visit - What to Expect
Your first visit will consist of a thorough oral exam and oral cancer screening, taking necessary x-rays, and discussing your medical and dental history.
Please assist us at the time of your initial visit to the office by bringing the following information:
- A referral slip and X-rays from your referring dentist (if available)
- A list of medications you are currently taking
- Any dental insurance claim forms or cards
- A photo ID
*Please Note: All patients under the age of 18 must be accompanied by a parent or guardian at the consultation appointment.
*Please Note: A cone beam x-ray may be taken at your first visit. Please remove all facial jewelry and earrings prior to your visit.
*Please notify the office if you have a medical condition or concern prior to surgery (e.g. artificial heart valves or joints, heart murmurs requiring pre-medication, diabetes, or hypertension) or are on any blood thinning medicines including aspirin therapy.
