What are All-On-4 Implants?

The All-On-4 procedure, also known as "Teeth in a Day," offers patients the opportunity to have their remaining teeth removed, implants placed, and a fully functional smile in just one day! This procedure not only enhances the appearance of patients' smiles but also rejuvenates their outlook on life. Many individuals struggle with severe tooth decay, deteriorating dental work, and broken teeth. For these individuals, the All-On-4, "Teeth in a Day" procedure is the ideal solution to achieve a new smile and address long-standing dental issues.
  • Most natural-looking and aesthetically pleasing: Resembles natural teeth the most in appearance and texture.
  • Permanent: Stays in the mouth without being removed like a denture.
  • No long healing times before you can use your dental implants.
  • The roof of the mouth is not covered.
  • The best chewing ability out of all the options for replacing a full arch or full mouth of teeth.
  • Perfect for individuals with limited bone: Ideal for those who have been informed of insufficient bone for implants.

How it Works

This procedure includes removing any remaining teeth, placing 4-6 implants per arch, and attaching a low-profile bridge to those implants. The strategic positioning of the implants avoids the sinuses, eliminating the need for costly bone grafts and lengthy healing periods.

Our doctor has enhanced the traditional All-On-4 procedure by personalizing it based on their expertise and understanding, resulting in a more favorable outcome for the patient. At The Dental Specialty Center Of Falcon, we carefully evaluate each case and customize our treatment to the individual patient's anatomy. Your doctor will implant between four and six implants per arch and temporary fixed bridges will be installed while your implants integrate with your jawbones and your mouth heals.

Once the healing process is finished, the doctor and lab technician will create your final teeth using zirconia, a material that is significantly stronger than the acrylic denture teeth offered at other dental practices. Zirconia also provides a more natural and lifelike appearance, is more hygienic, and is resistant to staining. Consequently, these teeth will have a longer lifespan and a superior aesthetic compared to the acrylic/titanium hybrid bridges commonly found elsewhere.

Am I a Candidate?

The majority of patients, including those who have been informed about insufficient bone for dental implants, can still undergo this procedure. In order to bypass the sinuses and utilize the sturdiest bone available, a combination of straight and angled implants will be employed by your doctor. This approach typically eliminates the necessity for costly and time-consuming sinus augmentation bone grafts. Your doctor will evaluate during your complimentary consultation whether All-On-4, also known as "Teeth in a Day," is suitable for you.

All-On-4 Procedure Timeline

The process takes 4-6 hours, depending on upper or lower arches. Temporary bridges are attached after the procedure and worn for 4 months for healing. Final bridges are made after healing, taking 5-6 weeks.

This process entails constructing a wax model of your temporary implant bridge to evaluate bite position, aesthetics, and other considerations.

6

Try In

Within 5-10 days of receiving your impressions, we will present you with a preview of your final teeth. In some instances, multiple wax try-ins may be necessary. It is essential for us to guarantee your contentment with the wax try-ins before moving forward with the final production. Once the try-ins are completed, any alterations become impractical. Hence, if you opt to modify your bridge(s) after approving and fabricating them, a full-cost remake charge will be applied.

After you provide your approval for the wax try-in(s), it typically takes approximately 4-6 weeks to prepare your bridge or bridges for seating.
